- Kind of hard to say what is _normal_, since so much depends
- on the efficiency of the system to whichyou are connected.

- With unregistered PPP 1.30, I grabbed ftp (binary) files at
- 1900-2000 cps, and with registered PPP 1.30, I usually see
- 2500 cps or so, and 2800 cps if I'm on at a non-busy time
- (3 AM local)
- and that comes close to the 40% Mr. Kruse has written of
- as the expected increase in speed with the registered device
- driver.
- I don't yet have the commercial versin of AmiTCP.
